Took the weekend off from food recording because I ate at the Chinese buffet. I still didn't eat as much as I normally would've because of the med cocktail they currently have me on. If I eat too much it makes me physically ill. I had already loaded up on McDonalds and then I ate honey chicken, black peppered chicken and a couple of pieces of sweet/sour chicken. I had a couple of Tbsp of banana and chocolate pudding. The trulicity really does make food unappealing somehow. I also have been having random yak moments. Mostly when I first wake up and at bedtime. Times when my tummy is empty. It's horrible and takes a couple of minutes for the nausea to pass but I'm a mom and have been pregnant 15 times so I'm well versed in morning sickness.

Anyhoo moving on.....
My whole family is stressed out. My husband is busy packing and yelling about no one helping while my two teens still in the house are lounging about pretending we're not going any where. My 5 year old is mostly confused about what all the hubbub is about. I worry about her freaking out because this is the only house she's known. We stayed at a hotel the first time we went down there and it took an hour to calm her enough to go to sleep. She kept screaming she wanted to go home. I want to sleep in my bed. I can't imagine what it's going to be like in the new house where it's completely different plus the husband's going to be home from work. Stress with all capitals and then giant sized. I love them faults and all and we will muddle through it but I can't say that I am completely ready to deal with it all. Keep my family in your prayers if you do them and pass along good thoughts for a moment if you don't.

Hang in there Diana. Sometimes all we can do is just keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep the momentum going.

Moving is always hard when you have kids. My husband was in the service for twenty years and we lived all over the world. My oldest daughter went to five different elementary schools. I always tried to help them realize that home could be anywhere, as long as we were all together. I'll remember your family in my prayers and would love to know how things go at your new home.
