Day 24 of 60.

Every once in a while I suffer through spell of insomnia. It doesn't seem to be stress related; it just happens. Well, it just happened last night. I think last night it was just a case of bad timing. I was exhausted when I got home and I could hardly keep my eyes open after dinner. But, I had things I needed to do before bedtime. When I finally did get to bed, I wasn't the least bit sleepy. I gutted it out for a couple of hours and then decided to read for a while and see if that wouldn't get me in the mood. Nothing. Finally I gave up and started my day very early. I did get a couple of hours of sleep before work and got through the day at work OK. The problem is that I cannot diet without sleep. I ate a huge breakfast -- no matter how much I ate, I was still hungry. I was too tired to cook, so I stopped at KFC -- never a good thing. Anyway, I'm going to get to bed now and hope for better things tomorrow.
