Day 16 of 60.

I was thoroughly disgusted at the results of my weigh-in. I figured I averaged about 1000 calories a day below my RDI, and I couldn't lose an ounce. It really threw me off my game on Wednesday, but today I decided to shake things up a bit. I figured if eating six times a day is good, maybe eating nine times will be better. I broke both breakfast and lunch up into two 200-calorie mini-meals -- just basically eating my normal meal with an hour and a half gap between courses. It seemed to work; the shake by itself was enough to keep me going in the morning and I had plenty to eat throughout the day without the temptation to cheat. I also tried staying out of my office between classes. I have a strong urge to nibble whenever I'm in the office, so except at snack time I hung out in the classroom with the kids.

I'm going to give this routine a go for a week and see what results.

Well you have done well so far and you don't sound to me like you have any intention of quitting. I am on 1200 calories or less and sometimes I can go for days on a plateau even though I am on plan and exercising. I guess folks who have been really heavy just have a harder time losing it.
