I completely went off the diet. Made a chocolate cake one weekend and ate too much junk after thanksgiving. I had gained two pounds, but I got on the scale this morning and was down from 158 to 155, so I lost an extra pound. Yay!

I need to get with DT and see if she wants to do Phase II or go back on Phase I. Right now I'm trying to be vegetarian. Although today the place we chose for lunch had little veggie options, so since I haven't had meat in a few days I chose the chicken salad. I'll just have fruit and veggies for dinner.

Been bummed lately about all the fat around my middle and on my face. I would like to have a nice jawline and a flat tummy. Heck I'd like to have a jawline and a whole lot less tummy. Things that depress me are seeing someone of a similar weight and height who has a much better body. I know it's because of lower body fat. Mine is still around 32%. I have to remind myself it used to be around 40% when I was at my heaviest. Still, I'm working out every day and not seeing as much of a change in my body fat as I would like. I need to get my act together and pump up my cardio. Right now it's just light cardio, usually at least an hour a day but broken up into two thirty minute segments. There's just so much more I need to be doing to get in shape.

Just for an experiement today I wore a type of waist cincher. It's a long one, goes from below my bra to my hips. I kept making myself sit up straight and feeling tall and much less self-concious about my middle. It also prevents overeating. No room in my tummy for food! I should wear it at night since that's when I've been getting the munchies the most.

Well, gotta run and finish doing my hair before work. I may not have my afternoon job for much longer. I'm refusing to let anything get me down though.

Try lifting weights, they say it speeds up your metabolism. Good luck!
