Welcome 2016... SIGH

What would I expect to see on the scale having been away from the gym for 2 weeks? What should I expect to see having made 2 weeks of poor choices in my eating habits AND proportions? Most surprising thing... I'm the d*mn family shopper and cook!!! How self destructive can one person be? :-/

Okay... I KNOW I'm not the only one starting over, so... the holidays are now behind us... Let's "tighten up our chin strap"... our laces, push ourselves away from the table and get "back to work" towards that healthier lifestyle AND that wonderful feeling of being at (back at) our target weight. :)

Immediate and Obtainable Goals:

1. Start documenting ALL my food consumption again as I did when I was so fit and healthy months ago.

2. STOP eating the junk food around the office.

3. STOP BUYING the junk food around the house!

4. Limit carbs to less than 150 per day.

5. Continue working out 3+ times per week.

6. Get back to my goal weight by my birthday.

Day one back at work since before Christmas... Should be interesting...

I love that fit and healthy feeling too. But why do I have to ache so much to get there?

Schmetter, you don't have to "ache so much to get there"... you simply need to watch what WE put into our "pie holes"!!! Weight gain/loss is ~80% input, and only ~20% calories burned... So, unless you get achy EATING, you shouldn't "ache" getting to that healthy feeling... JOIN ME... Let's do this!!! :)
