So, you want to know about MediFast...
First off, yes it works, but only if you follow the plan. This is especially important during the initial weightloss phase, absolutely no cheating! This phase goes for as long as it takes to get to your goal. For me, less than 8 weeks. During transition you do start adding more foods and weaning off the medifast meals.

I know how to lose weight, I understand portions, I know how to read labels and adjust calorie counts. What I didn't have was support and accountability. This is what I came to Medifast for.
I started just before the July 4th weekend. I topped the weight charts at 180lbs..pretty much where I was when I started on Fatsecret years ago. Presently I am 4lbs under my goal weight and continuing to lose.
Medifast is expensive, though there are coupons and there are online only programs that are much cheaper. In my opinion, the online is no different than following a calorie restricted diet on your own. I needed to have a place to go and weigh in, look over my food journal, bounce ideas and concerns.

Thanks for the information, I have seen a lot of ads for MediFast lately and wondered if it actually worked.

I'm doing Take Shape for Life (TSFL) which uses the Medifast products - It definitely works. I am 11 weeks in and down 32 lbs.
