Have been cutting down and making a real effort these past two weeks. Didn't even go mad on my birthday in mid-July. I need to keep the weight trend moving downwards, and this takes work!
I have given up booze for the time being, because whilst vodka etc may be carb-free it is certainly not calorie-free and when I've been drinking my resolve too often weakens and I end up eating the wrong food. At the time I don't care but next morning I get so mad at myself. So - for the duration, booze is out.
I think I have lost around half a stone, judging from the fit of my clothes. I will weigh on Monday 'officially' and post the result here. From now on I am determined to keep losing. Even a STS is better than a gain! There comes a point where you have to make a firm decision to stop regaining and lose the surplus. Finally I feel I am at that point.
