BAH!! Fell into that stupid trap again! Used food as a reward and after a particularly hot 4hour walk through the zoo with my kids I ate a small vanilla frosty. My calorie intake isn't too bad but I probably should have had a salad instead of that delicious darned dessert...

That's hard not to do especially when you don't realize how many calories are in that stuff! I'm a medical assistant for a company that does house calls. I usually work in the office, but the other day I had to go on the road with a physician to fill for their medical assistant. When we were done seeing patients, he asked what I wanted to do before we went back to the office. I suggested ice cream. He said ok and we went to Dairy Queen. He got a triple chocoholic mini blizzard. I did as well figuring there wouldn't be THAT many calories in a mini blizzard. Well....there is 430 calories in one of those!! I still managed to stay under my calories for the day, but they sure can sneak up on your fast!!

Yeah, that's exactly what I did yesterday (and I even had 2 beers). I'm glad that I have this site to come to though because before I would have just started eating bad again but I'm going to take my knowledge and apply it moving forward.
