ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

this is not a very upbeat (read serious rant) (not very cheerful) journal...i have to get it all out before i talk to my hubby about it...and as this is for all intents and purposes my journal for now, i need to put it down...so if you like the happy, upbeat, cheerful veggies - STOP READING NOW...she will be back tomorrow...

a couple of weeks ago i had a proceedure to stretch my uretha, today on the follow up it was closed up again,...i have 3 different meds to try (one each week) to determine which works best and then be on it for life... :-(

last week when the stomach issues surfaced again...that doc suggested getting tested for diabeties - tt my urologist today and he said the chronic infections and uretha issues could be a symptom of that...go figure... ;-(

and then again today - i start another freakin cycle...i have never had 2 cycles with only days inbetween...so i now need to call the ob doc and see what he says...;-/

to top it all off, with simon in the mix, i have just been eating whatever whenever and the scale is reflecting it...i know that you do not gain weight in a day or even really in 3 days...so this is for real weight, im going to post it...it is a combo of the really bad eating, the hormones and the other meds... :-{

im just so frustrated and defeated...im back up weight wise to where i started but size wise im still in a 10/12...so i dont get it...

i really dont want sympathy...i just needed to unload this stuff...if you've read this far - thank you...i will try to be back in form tomorrow and promise i will be upbeat in my responses to your journals...

Don't fake being upbeat if you're not! No one can have a cheery face all the time. We all have our up and down days, veggie. You're not alone. Thanks for sharing. ((HUGS)) you're going through so much. I really hope the best for you.

Always be true to yourself buddy. The only REAL person who knows you inside-out, and can tell you that you're wonderful, is YOU!

I hope you are feeling better. I find that it always feels better once you write down your thoughts. Don't ever be afraid to rant. We all go there now and then. <hugs>

of course we are reading... we are here for you. Good to get it out somewhere else before you can possibly explode all over your hubby. :) question, are you still intouch w/ vicki, you should talk to her. she can understand you more than most of us here. try to remeber how good you felt on sb... you can control your symptoms w/ diet. don't let food win this one.. we need our veggies on fs!!! The body is amazing in its ability to hold fluid when it is not well. The body does that to protect and heal itself. The morning my son was born - I weighed 176. That night after his wonderful and miraculous birth I weighed 136. My son weighed just 7 pounds. The math indicates that my body was holding onto 34 pounds of water! I lost 34 pounds of fluid. Are you friends with Momof2Girls and madaboutmoose? These two have convinced me - in an indirect and non-intimidating way - NOT to weigh. So - don't weigh. Have you joined the strike against the scale? Perhaps you started that strike! He-he-he-he-he! I am trying to make you smile and laugh! Just take care of that beeeeeyooooooteeeeefuuuullll body! Okay? Okay! I love ya more than deep fried mushrooms Baby! And don't you forget it!

Turn to us anytime, Veggies, especially when you're having a tough day or a down moment!!! It helps to clear your head. Surround yourself with friends and family who will support you. Health is not a game of solitaire. Support systems are essential to have success. We need people to encourage us when life happens. Let the people that you trust know what they can do to help you, whether it's providing company or doing something with you that is fun. You deserve the gifts of good health, energy, and happiness!!! Start your day tomorrow with self-regard and self-respect. When you are ready, you will lose weight. Peace, buddy!!!

veggies: I missed this yesterday for some reason. Before committing to taking any meds or to any dramatic procedures GET A SECOND OPINION, preferably, from the TOP spcialist in your area (wide area, look carefully for him/her). I know from experience, believe me, there are enormous differences in knowledge among doctors. I have seen people being told that they have six months left by one EXCELLENT doctor, only to be told by another that the previous doctor just is not aware of a particular procedure. Ten years later the person is still walking around. It happens ALL THE TIME. Put your research skills to work, get the best possible advice. Good Luck my dear friend.

Wow, Veggies. Lot on your plate, medically. I'm sorry to hear all this, but like you said, you don't want sympathy, so I won't give it. I'm proud of you for holding it together during this rough time. Hope you get everything sorted out. You're in my thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear of your medical problems. I know how frustrating the process can be and hope you will come through it very soon and with flying colors. And you are not ranting...just stating the facts of the matter. No need to apologize for having some stresses in your life. That is what journaling is for! :) {{{hugs}}}

ok back from yet another specialist...(im so sick of doctors)...he says that the energy, stomach issues, weigh gain, blah blah blah is all from not enough exercise...so he wants me to go to a club called the revolution fitness club and do a Vo2 test...he says that the reason im at my previous weight but not in the previous size is that after a certain point your body does a redistrubution of cells...and that this Vo2 test will tell where my new hot/lose it spots are and that will redirect my workout plan to attack what i need done now...will keep everyone posted...still having the endo scope done on friday the 21st...need to see what happens then...who knows...maybe just maybe i'll figure it out before i die...lol...that was a joke (seriously)

I feel badly you are having to deal with all of this, the health issues, not knowing what is going on and what will be the diagnosis. Vent all you want, some times that helps. You have a lot of stress not knowing and having one thing after another to deal with. Hang in there, we are all here for you. And faking being upbeat is not the answer, it just makes a person feel more helpless and frustrated because of keeping it inside. I understand your hesitancy to share your frustrations but keep sharing, okay? ((hugs))
