Happy Friday everyone! It's gonna be a scorcher here today. So NOT looking forward to that. Our cats don't do well in extreme heat. I'm gonna have to wrangle them up and get them into an AC room. Last time I tried that, they didn't like it. LOL. Cats are so finicky. I love them to pieces though.

I've lost 2 lbs this week. Hoping for another drop tomorrow, but I will be ok if there isn't. I'm almost 50 lbs lost. I honestly never thought, when I started this, I would be able to say that. I didn't have much faith in myself in the beginning. NOW I KNOW I will be able to say 100 lost then 150 lost and finally 176 lost when I get to my goal. Really knowing that is such a great feeling. It might take me a while, but that's ok. I WILL get there. For me, it's been a trial and error thing. I find things that work and eliminate things that don't. My biggest prob has been exercise, but I will get there with that too.

I can't believe it's already July. Living in WI, it just NOW seems like summer has started. We have had such crappy weather. Summerfest is going on. Last year I wanted NOTHING to do with it. This year, I kind of want to go. I want to do so much more then I did, even just a few months ago. It feels good. Hauling around all my weight in the heat totally sucks, but I can TELL a difference now. Even going up and down stairs. I have to go into our yucky spider infested basement to do laundry, and usually my right knee hurts really bad going up and down. NOW it doesn't hurt as much or if at all AND I go up and down much faster. It feels really good.

For the month of June, I've lost a total of 17 lbs. Not sure on my inches as I accidentily threw my measurements away. I'm going to take new measurements today and put them in a post. I have nothing to judge them by, but at least I have them I guess.

woo-hoo!!! Great job!! You'll be under 300 in no time! And if you've lost 50lbs total so far, that's 200lbs of pressure off your knee! Amazing, just amazing! Have a great weekend doll!

Thank you Jenni and Trish! This is a hard road at first but it DOES get easier. Have faith in yourself. Really, for me, it's an evolution. I'm slowly evolving into the women I really WANT to be. Not the person i thought I SHOULD be...especially when I was younger. It takes time and dedication. If you fall off the wagon just get right back up. Sooner or later it will 'stick' and you will be cruising down the weight loss highway. Just make sure whatever 'diet' you do, it's something you can do for a 'lifestyle' change. Because that's what it's all about. If you don't make a lifestyle change, yeah you may loose weight NOW....but you will gain it all back. Been there done that many, MANY times. =) Miss savannah~ THANK YOU!!!
