"Channel 6 Action News Stormchaser Weather Forecast for today...We'll start off with some clouds, some sun, maybe a chance of rain either this morning or this afternoon. Highs in the 80's or 90's depending on how much sun we see. 100% chance of UGH! Join us at 5 for an updated forecast and today's headlines on Channel 6 Action News."

I was able to walk early today, as I had an AM appointment to get to. The dogs came along for the first 2 miles and then I finished up for a total of 3.3 miles. Although the temperature when I finished was a "cool" 79 degrees, the day was high on the UGH scale!

My foods are changed up for today due to eating differently in order to make that appointment on time. After the appointment, I headed into DH's work to see the new space. I saw a few people who haven't seen me in awhile and they commented on how I was shrinking. The conversations were brief, as I was on a tour, of sorts, but it all felt good nonetheless.

We'll be grilling out some steaks tonight and I hope to take a dip in the pool since I couldn't get one in this morning.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Sandy - You knew you were going to have a busy day but you kept your priorities straight and got your exercise in first. No wonder you are shrinking!

Thanks Dar & Buffy...I'm fortunate to have a flexible enough schedule to be able to get the exercise in whenever that fleeting impulse to do so comes through - LOL! I wasn't too happy getting out of bed early, though; I don't know how you morning people manage to do it day after day!

I am definitely not a morning person either. I can get up early, but need to sit, read the paper, and drink my coffee before I can be productive in any way. The weather in NH has been cold in the 60's and rainy since Wednesday night~enough to make me pull the covers over my head and burrow down! Have a great weekend Sandy!

Lisa, I could use a nice crisp New England morning where I could go out and take a big deep breath of fresh air! I bet you can smell the earth, too, after the rain. Ah well...stay cuddled up and warm until you see some sunshine!

Jen, thanks so much for the compliments. These last 20 may kill me, but they WILL be banished! Like the rest of the journey, it will be another learning experience, as to what works and what doesn't at this stage. I'm trying to find my way through these last murky pounds, as I refuse to succumb to fad/starvation tactics to drop them. I know Atkins will work for me, even at this point; I just have to find the right adjustments. Have a good weekend!
