No migraine today! YAY! I just got done with my first execises of the day. I did 500 'marches', every 100 I did a diff arm exercise with my 3 lb arm weights. I'm also going to do my dvd and maybe another 500 marches later this afternoon. It's finally cool here so I might go for a walk instead of the marches. not sure. I feel good DOING some form of exercise. I just needed to get off my big butt and DO IT. I have laundry today as well, so i will be up and down 4 flights of stairs each way. That will be good too I think. I feel good today.

Good for you; I like the idea of switching up the arm exercises. My problem is I tend to loose count of where I am.. lol

Good for you. I also have migraines and it is odd how it seems that once it is gone, the sun shines a bit brighter and I feel really good the next day or two.

LOL....I did at first too. I kind of made the marches into a dance to make it more fun. And another reason to shake my booty. =) It's kind of fun once you get over how silly you look. =)

I've used songs before, and will change up when the song changes, but not super acurate as not all songs are the same.

I totally feel like that @Esimnons. When you are in the middle of a migraine it feels like you just wanna die sometimes and then when it's gone ....everything is so bright and clear. This one wasn't that bad. i have had them for more then a month before. I hope THAT never happens again. I will admit I thought i was going to lose my mind the pain was so bad. yucky. @akersmda I LOVE music so i try to incorporate it into everything I do exercise wise. It makes things so much more fun.

So glad the migranes broke free, and even more glad you are finding ways to work exercise in. Dieting alone can work, but it's like putting a supercharger on it... accelerates the momentum. lol! When marching gets to easy, look into getting one of those cheap plastic adjustable "steps". I use one of those as part of my workout set and I gotta tell you, there is no better muscles at torching calories than the qaudricep. Big muscles burn fat fast and should be the "opening act" of any workout (so says my trainer). Go get 'em tiger!!

Happy for you that the migraines are gone. It took me a while, I used to hate exercising, but LOVED the results on my mood. Now after about almost 1.5 months of solid working out I am starting to love it. It's a natural high. So get up and do it whether you want to or not. Your body will thank you, and you feel amazing that you did.

Great to see you are marching, it is an excellent way to start out when you haven't been exercising. Nice on adding in some arm exercises too. Another tip, I also do 200 every time I go to the bathroom (I use the handicap stall at the office) and then I also do another 500 at night before I go to bed. It all adds up in the long run!
