I was recently told by my doctor that I needed to diet and exercise to lose weight since I am almost at a weight that is considered overweight for my height. My friends tell me that they think I look like I'm in shape and they can't tell i gained 20 pounds in 3 months last summer (and never lost it).

So now I am about to try my first diet ever. I have given myself some time to really prepare. I am reading the Dukan Diet book, looking for recipes, and cleaning out my apartment of all food that I will not be able to eat for the next couple months.

So now I am trying lose 25 pounds before I return to school at the end of August. I am also starting P90X with my roommate tomorrow. Hopefully all of this will get me back down to a healthier weight.
