Week 3 Day 5 (Legs and Back)


Sooooooo I am a little disappointed and also had a huge eye opener this morning. I FINALLY bought a heart rate monitor/ calorie counter. I decided to splurge and get a really nice one so I can get an accurate count of my workouts.


Come to find out, I realize why the numbers are not adding up and I am not losing the weight the numbers would have you believe. Using the FS calorie counter was WAYYYY WAY Wayyyyy did I say WAYYYY over estimating my calories. I did the Legs and back Workout and I used weight training or calisthenics and it had me at 707 calories burned umm NO. Today, I burned 285 calories in one hour. I am sad but also glad that at least NOW I know I have to work harder to hit those high numbers and no have a more accurate counter for burning calories.

Anyway, time for a protein shake and maybe some rice crispies and almond milk. ooo and some banana. Yum!

i still have this chest and cough thing that I can't quite get rid of.

Hey revelations are a good thing! At least now you know you have to push yourself harder. I always wondered about the accuracy of FS calories burned. I would LOVE to buy a calorie counter myself. Those things are awesome. Have a great weekend!

that doesn't sound right at all. I burn at leat 600 calories on that workout. You had to have burned at least 500! which hrm monitor did you buy?

Idk partner. I bought the Sportline 915 from Modell's. The only weird thing that happened was thatI was super perterbed after the workout so I took it off and started cleaning... I put the watch back on right before I went to work and in the last 1hr 22 mins I have burned 179 calories...I am so confused now????

My husband has a heart moniter but not sure where it is actually- maybe i Should search for this weekend. ha ha! You know my heart doesn't go way up in the weights dvds except in a few places but goes up and stays in like cardio x. But I miss the legs dvd - I don't know why what it's not in the last 4 weeks at all. which is odd -my legs are my trouble spots.

Wow, I just checked the last few weeks, I wonder if I switch kenpo and yoga and substitute yoga for Legs and back......That may help me keep up my legs because that is my problem area as well.
