Sorry two journal entries today.. Well today has been a real pisser.. Today I asked my son if he felt up to going to school. He said he was worried about making his class mates sick. I tried to assure him that he was no longer contagious and that he was going to be ok and not make his friends sick. He was really worked up about it. So I figured just take him to the dr.. let the dr set his mind at ease. We got there and he was looking really tired and worn out. We had been there like 3 min.. and he said.. my tummy feels bad.. I said do you need to throw up (bare in mind he has not thrown up since like 5am tuesday) and he said I think so.. so we started running to the bathroom and and the nurse thankfully handed us a basin.. He threw up tons. So the dr drew blood, did a UA.. and sent us for a x-ray. We are waiting for the blood work.. and the x-ray looks like there is no blockage so that is good news. The dr said that sometimes when someone is ill for so long their chemicals are all off balance and that can just make them vomit. So he may need and IV just to replace his fluids. He has lost over 4.5 lbs since his last weigh in in January. So chances are he weighed more before all of this started than he did 4 months ago.. so really he probably lost more than 4.5 lbs in the last two weeks. He does look gaunt and his pants are falling off of him. So right now we are just waiting for the dr to call us back about the blood work.. and the radiologists report.
