This weigh in is bitter sweet. It's the end of the month and I've lost 14 pounds total for the month.

I've been slacking on my exercise these past few days and I can feel it. It's making me depressed and feel badly about myself and my weightloss. I don't want to feel anything but proud of myself and accomplished. I guess it's hard to get that sensation when you know that you cheated yourself, that you could have done better, that you should have tried harder. Bitter-sweet indeed.

But, this officially kicks off a fresh start. A new week, and a new month, my two favorite things. A chance to wash the past away, and start over. Do everything right, keep my own promises, etc.

Anyhoo, I hope everyone has a great day today.
273.5 lb Lost so far: 37.5 lb.    Still to go: 113.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You have lost 14 pounds in a month. That is a HUGE accomplishment. You should be so proud of yourself. If you have a slip up now and again, it's okay. Just keep going. It's a new month and here's to another month of loss (no matter how big or small). It all adds up in the end. Good luck!

Hold on a second here, you have lost an average of 3lbs per week!! Don't you dare be depressed, not a bit! 14lbs in a month is a huge accomplishment!!!!! It's a new month and a new week and a new day, don't strive for perfection, just stay on track for one meal at a time. Everything will be ok, it will. Keep going, push yourself, and remember the average weightloss is about 2lbs per week, so you're ahead of the curve, kiddo.

the exercise part is hard for a lot of us , but just kept on tring to focus on maybe just 10min a day that way you be surprised how that 10min. will in up being longer. It seem like once you start thinking that you only are going to do that 10 min. For some reason you will end up doing a lot more because by then motivation have kicked in. (bE proud that you have lost 14lbs. in a month. That's something to be proud of.

Focus on the positives! You lost 14 POUNDS IN ONE MONTH! I understand feeling bad about the exercise and I know for sure what an impact exercise has on how you feel, but--really--focusing on the positives is really going to help you keep going. Sure, there is always room for improvement. But if you focus on what you HAVE done, what you HAVE accomplished (which is a lot) that will give you the confidence and motivation to keep going. And when you have a bad day (which you will, everyone has bad days and weeks), you'll have the strength to say, "Wait a minute, I lost 14 lbs in one month, I had to be doing something right." So you learn and you move on and you continue what did work and you change what didn't work. You're working really hard, so give yourself a pat on the back.

I know I just met you but it sounds to me like you're doing great! Don't be depressed. Like you said tomorrow is new day. You seem to have a great attitude and that's the most important thing of all. You can do anything! I'll be in touch.

14 lbs. in one month is an incredible feat. Don't be hard on yourself after doing this well. Just know if you want to keep the momentum up you got to keep up with those workouts. : ) Good luck in June!!! xoxo.

You should be very proud of yourself! 14 pounds in a month! Thats remarkable! I'm hoping to lose 15 lbs in the next month, it is very encouraging to see that it is actually possible! Its inspiring! Keep it up!

14 pounds in a month is GREAT! I'm so impressed!! It says you have been sticking with it even though you think you could have done better... gives you a goal for next month though!! Don't get too depressed about it see it as something positive to work towards because I know when I start beating myself up too much I start a what's the point type of downward spiral and really end up feeling lousy. But balance is good!! Wish you the best of luck and all the encouragment I can give to start the new week/month off well! You're doin' awesome!

14 pounds is AMAZING! There are people who couldn't lose 14 pounds in 4 months. That is fantastic! I may have just started following you, but I am proud of you!!
