Holy Moly What a PIG.

I have committed to entering everything I eat and OMG was I a great big oinker today! As I sat down to enter, I wasn't going to enter my dinner as I was already over the top in Calories (even though I was okay on Carbs). But I told myself "Self, you're accountable and you enter what you eat". I'm glad I did to be honest because it really opens my eyes where I need to make changes and also needing to make a few better choices.

I don't really worry about the calories, but I was twice RDI so I'm going to try and not do that again.

Tomorrow is another day on this Journey and I look forward to it!!

Honesty... Yep, I've been there over my RDI too. It snuck up on me. Didn't realize what I had done until I was entering my foods. You are doing just GREAT!!! :)

Good job, you can't fix it if you don't know it. I should listen to that myself!

You have a great attitude. I know I've done that before, but I don't think I've had as healthy a perspective as you do. That's already a step in the right direction. :) Keep up the hard work and it WILL pay off.

Lori, I know how you feel, but I have found out just to keep it simple while your in induction. Some of the receipes, even though low carb are loaded with calories and sometimes really don't have enough veggies and wayyy to much cheese.I have a simple 2 egg omelet with onion,1/2 oz cheese, and usually a green veggie(spinach, asparagus, mushrooms)then either top with 1 tab salsa or slice tomatoes.Lunch is a salad with some protein, tomatoes, cukes, try adding jicama..YUM...with oil and vineager,or maries' dressings.Dinner cooked veggie with a protein.Don't forget you fats.Watch your ratios.. Try logging in your food dairy before you eat.I know it takes some time and planning, but that way you'll know you numbers BEFORE you eat. I have been trying to stay around 1500-1600 and I drop 2 more lbs over the week-end without exercise.Unbeliveable!!!!.Have a good day!! nonna
