BrandyRelaxing's Journal, 14 April 2011

Well I don't know about everyone else, but I'm noticing as the weather gets nicer, I have a lot more energy. I'm sure it's a combination of getting healthier and more daylight, but whatever it is, I'll take it!

I came home tonight and did the 3 mile Walk at Home DVD workout... I survived, although, there was one point where I wasn't sure I was going to. At that point, it was knee lifts, and I was lifting my knees, but I'm sure my grandma could have lifted her knees higher than I was! LOL

LOL Too funny! At least you exercised. Good job! I've heard the more you do it, the easier it gets. ;) Of course, I'm speaking from no experience. hahaha The longer and nicer days are much better for me too. You are doing awesome!

Great job for pushing yourself through it! I agree about the weather I was in a real funk for the last 3 months, and the sun and nice weather is bringing a smile back. Keep it up!

Brandy, you're a riot. I do know the feeling though on the knee lifts. Good for you on the exercise and the energy.

Thanks for all the encouragement! I'd actually been avoiding that workout because I thought it'd be too hard and I'd have to give up mid-way through the DVD (and I HATE giving up!). But I'm so glad I made it!

Congrats on completing the 3mile :) I dread when it's time to do the triceps towards the end. You'll be doing the 5mile before you know it (that one has no weights) keep up the good work and it will all get easier down the road.

Thanks Chris! The one I have does a ton of arm movements, but I don't know if it purposefully works the triceps... it's the one the American Heart Association sponsored, so it might be more of a tame version... I have another 3 mile one that I want to try this weekend too!
