A couple of my buddies have had a week with results they haven't been happy with... so I thought I'd share one of my favourite poems!
The scale does not measure your ability to write tests ● how much your friends love you ● if you are a good cook ● how well you dance ● how fast you can run ● how well you tell jokes ● how big your heart is ● how well you drive ● how smart you are ● how well you give hugs ● how many push-ups you can do ● your taste in movies ● the size of your bank account ● how well you do in school ● how much your pet loves you ● your job performance ● how much weight you can lift ● your smile ● the quality of your life ● the amount of happiness you experience each day ● now much you love other people ● your ability to play an instrument ● your talent as an artist ● your athletic skills ● how long you can hold your breath ● how many books you have read ● your femininity ● your masculinity ● the number of people who care about you ● your capacity for kindness ● your willingness to help out ● the kind of person you really are ● the likelihood that you will become rich and famous ● what kind of driver you are ● the quality of your relationships ● your potential ● how yummy your chocolate chip cookie recipe is ● how creative you are ● how well you manage your finances ● your taste in music ● the number of people who are glad you were born ● how well you sing ● your ability to respond in an emergency ● the kind of parent you may be ● your ability to memorize song lyrics ● how much you care for others ● how nice you are ● much of anything that matters if you think about it ●
