Rolmar's Journal, 09 April 2011

Again, another week gone by. I did not lose weight this week. I ate things I should not have. I did not lose control though. I documented all the damage but did not binge. I don't think we cooked one meal at home the whole week. We've got to stop that and fast. Still have some Olive Garden soup and salad to finish though.

I finally got my hubby to sign up! Yeah! Now I will have some help and I need all the help I can get! I do not bring anything unhealthy into the house but my husband has a maddening sweet tooth. He also likes to brings things home that he knows I like. I am not strong enough to have things in the house that I really like to eat as of yet. An alcoholic does not have alcohol in the house or even mouthwash with alcohol in it, a person who has finally concurred the addiction to nicotine does not have a cigarette in the house and as a food-addict, I should not have unhealthy good choices in the house!

I will lose weight next week, no doubt about that one. I am going to work very hard to get under 150 lbs this time. It will be done....It will be done....It will be done...Oh Yeah!
150.4 lb Lost so far: 13.6 lb.    Still to go: 11.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Mary Beth, It's great that your husband has signed up. It will help with the support you have at home. Also, great job in recognizing what needs to be fixed, so that you can accomplish your goal. Hang in there, I know it is tough. Being on here to track what you are doing is great in keeping us accountable. Again, you can do it. Below 150, here you come.

You speak the truth! It is very difficult to have success if your home is not, what I call, a "safe place". We can't help some of the things we are exposed to outside of the home, you just have to deal with it. However, at home, if I have what I call a "weak" moment, I don't want to be able to head to the cabinet for a bag of chips or my own freezer for some ice cream! Yes...below 150, here I come!
