I've successfully started a walking group where I live! I started it last Friday. We walk at 6am sharp M-F and rest on Sat and Sun. We walk for an hour. Right now there's 3 of us, but 1 more is joining tomorrow! One guy is 352 pounds and I was just so proud of him when he joined. I am giving him all kinds of tips that I didnt realize I knew lol! Like one tip is to jump rope. Like literally buy a 2 dollar jump rope and juump rope for as long as you can....and watch the fat slide off your frame every day. Like literally I told him to start with 30 seconds a day then build up 30 more seconds every 7 days. Jumping rope when you're morbidly obese is like a golden tip bc the fat just melts off! Anywho everyone did well and I just didnt realize how much info I had about weightloss. It was quite interesting even to myself lol! So on the Anniversary (Oct 1, 2012) of whence my weightloss journey started TWO years (and 113 pounds) ago, it is nice to be in a position to give back in my community. I do jumping squats witn my 20 pound weight vest at home before we walk bc I just need extra sweat lol! Anywho, I shall get back to work. #Peace&Love :D
