Today I defaulted. I'm not sure what that means, but that's the first word that came to my mind. LOL

I didn't work out on the treadmill like I wanted to. I had to travel outside of my small town, with my small kids, to get to some decent stores (where I usually buy my baby and house supplies). I made sure that I ate breakfast, but we had to order out. However, I did my best to order the healthiest looking thing possible: Grilled Chicken Wrap (which included: tortilla, grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and light ranch dressing. Could have been worse. I could have eaten the popcorn chicken that my son ate.) Anyway, I did some walking around the mall, pushing my double-stroller....so I got "somewhat" of a workout in. Not sure if it counts as a workout, but I DID walk---just not how I intended to.

Then came dinner. EPIC FAIL!!! We ate at a Chinese buffet. I ate so much that I don't even think I can log it in. I feel guilty now. It's been a loooooong time since I ate at a buffet, but now I feel like I totally wasted all of my workouts just on 1 hour there. It's so hard to not eat try everything. I love food. I'm passionate about food. Darn food!!!! Darn ME too! :\ BUT....I'm not going to lie....I enjoyed myself. Like I said, it's been a while since I actually didn't think about what I was eating and how many calories it might have. I just went hog wild. Like a kid in a candy store!

I'm hoping to be able to walk on the treadill tonight. I'm hoping that my husband will workout too, so that we can BOTH do exercise together. I'm hoping that I didn't fall 10 steps back because of my food splurge at the buffet. Oh yeah, I also didn't drink as much water as I usually do. I always have a hard time drinking enough when I travel away from home. I wonder why that is....? (I only drank 3 16.9 oz. bottles of water today.) Anyway, I intend to drink at least one more bottle of water tonight.

*EVENING Workout*

Treadmill:
Time: 32min. 15sec.
Distance: 1.89 miles
Incline: 5 (all the way through)
Speed: alternated between 3, 3.5, and 4 mph (only did 3mph for about
1min. total; did mostly 3.5mph; first time doing 4mph for
3min. each time instead of 30sec. to 1min.!!!) :)
Burned:
Calories: 316
Fat Cal.: 99 (should have tried to burn 1 extra!)

...really glad I got to do a little bit of exercise after dinner. I still feel bad that I pigged out at the buffet, but I'm proud of myself for pushing myself to workout tonight. And I'm REALLY glad that my husband is working out WITH me. :) (He's doing the Plyometrics video for P90X.) I'm proud of him too! :D
