Thanks for the support, peeps! I recently switched from Noom which kept saying my substitutes for higher calorie, higher sugar, low fiber, low protein foods were “no, no’s.” This included peanut butter and protein bars which I think are better than a handful of cookies! Only 43 more pounds to my target weight. Let’s go!😎

Ah heck peanut butter is fine, cheap-healthy oils-some protein, just have to watch portion. I cheat it by doing 1:1 ration of pumpkin puree with peanut butter for use on celery etc. Also can thin it out with a bit of water, vinegar, ponzu, lemon juice, soy sauce, fish sauce (combo how you like) for over vegetables. People get crazy notions that all people must eat the same thing and some foods are bad. Well guess what snicker bars have a lower glycemic than a rice cake. So if you are diabetic than might be a good option. I orginally labeled certain foods as “no-no” and now see foods on sliding scales of water content, nutrition, glycemic index etc - most importantly correct portions for a type of food.
I’m not familiar with Noom but sound more like the outlook of a diet rather than a live long lifestyle change. But bottom line rock with what gets you motivated. We’re here WITH you finding the way.
