I never realized that fruit smoothies are just carbs... I make mine from scractch:

1 banana
2 freshly squeezed orange juice
depending on whether I have fresh strawberries, blueberries and blackberries, I will substitute them with Trader Joe's Berry Medley. It's frozen strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. It makes for a good cold smoothie rather than room temperature.

I don't add anything else to it. I should consider adding flax seed... At least I'm getting some vitamins and other supplements, if anything else.
