Does anyone else have the same frustration trying to submit a recipe? I have tried to submit recipes on a number of occasions and there is a 256 Character restriction. Even when I fine tune it (trust me I have counted) to less that 256 it still won't let me submit. How do you do it? I have some great recipes that I want to share with my American SBD buddies! Maybe we could share our email addresses?

I haven't had any trouble with submitting recipes except for the choices on the ingredient lists are limited. Are you possibly trying to enter the entire recipe on the first page that asks for a brief description? If you click "Next" it will take you to add ingredients and edit directions. We would love to get your recipes!! Hope this helps.

I found that the computer has to know specifically the amounts of what the ingredients are or it just won't continue. For instance< I submitted Yam fries. the recipe I had called for 3 yams. It wouldn't accept that. I finally figured out I had to give it a weight, like 1 lb of yams. I think it has to do with how the computer figures out the nutritional content and calories. Another recipe I submitted that is up for approval right now is Green tea truffles. You need 4 tea bags but I couldn't just say that. It kept asking me to define ounces, grams etc so I just picked grams and then in the Method explained what to do with the 4 tea bags. Try it and see what happens.

I had loads of trouble inputting my recipes so I contacted the support on the site & they were REALLY helpful. They even offered to input the recipes for me if I e-mailed them to them. Good luck & I'm REALLY excited to get some new recipe ideas!!
