I've decided to truly maintain (and know how) I have to try not to record my food to see if I can let go of the control issue I am having. I wanted to put away the scale but I know deep down I will just take it out. So for a week (at least) I'm gonna try not recording the food and relying on how I feel .... the scale will be another hurdle for another time :)

I know that looking forward to this point is already giving me anxiety and I'm still over 40 pounds from goal. Even though you're not recording, make sure you stick around and journal. The support system here will help keep you on track.

Great job! I am starting to feel I will never get to maintenance, but am so proud of those that do.

It is recommended to weight yourself once a month so that you know if you're gaining again. I have a long way until maintenance but than I still plan on recording my intake and weighting myself weekly.
