dm_lytle's Journal, 10 April 2009

I got the paperwork from the doctor's office yesterday. I don't know what I want to do. With the Relena, you use a strict low calorie diet, the relena (liquid meds), daily nutritional supplements, and a weekly vitamin injection. You weigh in weekly and get your vitamin injections weekly. The basic plan without relena is appetite suppressants, and a monthly vitamin injection. I guess the appetite suppressants are a safer version of phen phen. I can buy something from the health food store that suppresses my appetite and is thermogenic to help burn more fat. I just don't know if I will stick it out without the doc's plan or not. I guess I will give it until June before I decide. I won't be able to afford any of it until after we come back from South Carolina. I am doing pretty good with the goals I had set. I have struggled to just lose weight for the last 7 years.

Lose 5-6 pounds by Easter: 3/15/09
Lose 10 pounds by May Day: I am 2 pounds away.
Lose 15 pounds by Son's Military Graduation:
Lose 20 pounds by Nephew's Wedding:

I would be so excited if I lose 20 by Graduation and hit goal by my nephews wedding. His after reception party is at the lake and I would love to feel and look good in a bathing suit by then. I go swimming every week and I hate putting on my bathing suit every single time. I want to be able to buy a new bathing suit and feel wonderful when I put it on. I was ecstatic last night I went ahead and measured again before Easter, since my house will be full. I lost another 1/2 in. in my waist, thighs, and buttocks. I only lost 1/2 in my hips since I started and 3.5 in my buttocks. I don't understand it. I was hoping to lose a lot more in my hips. Anybody have any ideas. I actually have definition between where my thighs start and my butt ends, That is awesome!
I ate a hard boiled egg and a piece of toast and chocolate milk for breakfast.
Getting ready to do aerobics, and first set of crunches and then off to church to finish cleaning, I slacked off yesterday and didn't go. Then off to the horses to muck out stalls and groom before feeding.

Please be careful with this Relena stuff... its new, right - so they probably don't really know that much about it yet. You can do this on your own - you know you can, you just need to get the motovation! We are all here to help you, so don't give up.

Thank you that is why I was wanting to look into but by the time I could even afford it I am hoping to already be at goal weight. I am not paying for an appetite suppressant that I don't really need. I am so psyched right now I haven't had results in the past when I tried to lose the weight before, and I enjoy my gym time so much. I am looking forward to warmer weather and less on my agenda to be able to exercise even more. I want the body I never thought I could have.
