Feeling really good this morning. (Issy-Stress will definitely do a number on ya, huh?)

Looking forward to the day...have some goals to keep in mind today. Keeping carbs at 20g's / Water Intake 84 oz. / Exercise Today: Walking

I haven't weighed in here on the site for almost two weeks, as it goes from 139, to 140, to 141, to 140, 139, 140, 141, 140 ...etc... it's so frustrating when you are trying everything you know to do...but it just doesn't want to cooperate. SO....

I went back thru my food journals, back thru the cupboards, the fridge, my menu's, recipes, meal planners, grocery lists, etc...

I have cut out EATING OUT... for the foreseeable future until I can get the scale to move in the right direction.
I have committed to journaling my intake, daily, again...so I can watch the trends.
I do believe I have 'relaxed' the guidelines to accommodate my personal tastes...like the occasional veggie, or fruit, or snack, that I didn't think would matter too much.
However, Figuring out I am VERY Carb Intolerant. I will likely live at this low level for LIFE... and I 'justified' eating slightly higher carb levels once I reached 140. Even w/ my goal in mind to get to 135, I would have just a little of this...or a little of that...and think it didn't matter. (like the apple slices w/ peanut butter) or (nuts). (too many nuts!!)
Well, in order to get it moving again...it apparently does matter!
So Back on Induction...strictly for two weeks...hoping to flush out my system...will try making some of Evie's Beef Veggie Soup.


I want to get this train moving and re/reach my final goal by my Anniversary in April...as we are planning a vacation (not sure where yet)... and I want to be able to buy some spring/summer clothing and don't want to worry about changing sizes. (all of last summer's stuff is at least a size too big as it stands now...not sure if 5 more lbs will make a difference, but it would be a waste of money to keep buying too many sizes I will never wear again!)


Just journaling my thoughts and goals to keep my stuff right out there in front...and keep myself accountable!

Thank you for the support Cindy! (it's just as hard to lose a pound when you are w/in reach of your final goal weight..as it is when you are still 75 lbs away from it!) Thanks Raven! :)))) My husband was just saying 'good bye' this morning as he was headed out the door...and he turned around and asked me...'hey, by the way, how did you sleep last night?'... 'fine, I guess, why do you ask?'... he said I snored like a truck driver!!! Guess I was totally relaxed and in need of some deep sleep! Feel great this morning!!!

Bren, Not a bit! That's why I am putting it out there... It's no help to anyone if we make adjustments...but don't share them...because how are others to know what works and what doesn't! Don't have any definite answers yet...but I am a determined woman! And I will not give up til I figure this thing out!!!

Thanks all - Had a decent day. Hit Calorie Goal: 1550 - Kept Carbs @ 20g's - Exercised w/ lite walking and dancing for 45 min's. (had to baby the leg today! hence the 'lite') - Got all of my Water in Already! Running out...my middle son graduates from the Firefighter's Academy tonight...later!

Thats what I love about journaling it keeps me on the right path and my mind clear and focused. Got a good app on my blackberry and tablet for taking notes down so I always got something to vent too or reward to put down!

Stef - thank you sooooo much for the encouragement! Such a compliment...coming from you, especially since we are fighting the same battle...and you ain't moving yet either! Granted...I'm near enough to the finish line to feel like I am there...which IS my problem...just too darn lax for my own good! Time for me to ramp it up again!! Hey - if you'll log your stuff, and I log mine...we can help each other and see if we can figure this out! (since we both count total..that's what I was just thinkin') What do you think?
