UConn Huskies --- National Mens College Basketball Champions -- yeah! And the women play for their title tonight. I'm not really a big college basketball fan (not like I am for football), but its been fun to have our state school in the "dance". We do a family pool of the tournament, which makes it fun too. This is the 4th year we've had the pool & I won it again for the 3rd time. I know the least about college basketball, so make my picks based on team colors, mascots & where kids I know go/went to college… it drives my boys (DH included) crazy that I win with the least knowledge of the teams… and I love it!
I had a good day yesterday still on a high from my fun trip & eating success as i returned home. I want to remember this good feeling so that as I go forward into weekends, trips & transition Sundays, I can strive to do the things that work for me to keep me on track & keep this great, healthy feeling.
I'm off to another HIIT workout this morning, then up to work for the rest of the day. It's a seasonal business (he, BIL, sells mulch) & with the warmer weather, the season is starting. It's a gloomy rainy morning here though, weather wise, after pouring rain overnight, but that won't dampen my spirits & sunshine is to return later today.
So, I'll start this day in prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And, I'll pray, breathe, log, journal & express my way through this one day & each one meal, moment, bite, thought & emotion. I'm so grateful for each of supportive you, my family & IRL friends, how good it feels with each step in the direction I want to go as I build my healthy eating & living highway, hot bulletproof coffee, and having the health & wealth to live this life I love! xoxox
