Hey guys, had a horrific week of eating. I really need some support and motivation to get back on track. Bring at home has definitely had a bad effect on my eating habits... Thanks guys

Only you can change it, we will always be here to support and motivate you. You must take the first step, and look at why you ate so badly. You can do this, and I am sure you will do this. Log your food, if you are not already doing so, it does help. Good luck

I understand how you feel! I've been in a wheelchair for the past 3 weeks and have found myself doing the fast-food thing because it's easier than trying to cook when I can't stand!!! Am now struggling to re-gain my determination. Let's get back on track together, shall we?? :)

I'm at home also, for some reasons or another, and having the same problem! It's like having a limited amount of discipline, and being hit from all sides with so many eating options exhausts it. *Best thing I've found so far is that when everyone else is eating, or I'm tempted to have "multiple lunches", I make some tea and sip on that. With a little honey or sugar, it's enough to curb that craving for whatever they're eating.

My willpower while at home is weak, too. So, I just don't bring those foods in my house that will cause me to cave in. I don't think any of us will have 'thee' answer for ya', but at least some comfort that some of us battle the same issue.

My mom keeps a lot of junk food anournd her house and sometimes I really struggle there. Rhe only advice I can give you is to just say no. If you can muster up the willpower to say no thw first time, then it gets much easier from that point forward. Portion control and moderation. Just because its not something you would normally eat does not give the excuse to eat a ton of it. One can lose weight and be healthy with almlst any type of food, just use moderation. Dont be too hard on yourself :-)good luck

it helps me, when I am reaching for that piece of cake or extra helping to say to myself: "Remember your goal...why are you doing this?"

Keep all red light foods out of the house. Keep fresh fruit and cut up veggies in the house and readily available when you are hungry. Protein stops hunger. Make sure you really are hungry, sometimes thirst is masked as hunger. Keep busy doing other things, so you don't focus on food (working out, cleaning, etc.). I'm on Weight Watchers and I try to think of my points/calories as money. I only get a certain amount and I really think about if something is worth it now.

Thanks for all your support guys I've been much better today I think I just need to remember what actual hunger feels like as oppose to temptation or boredom. You guys are the best! I'll practice what all of you have suggested and hopefully be better tomorrow x x x
