Well I had some issues with eating today...got up late and didn't want to eat a lot before I went to the gym...so I had a protein shake. Had to go grocery shopping after the gym and by the time I got home it was time for dinner...so I totally skipped lunch. We had crab legs and steamed broccoli...not the most fating of meals, but it was yummy :) I even added cantaloupe for dessert though I'm not sure if I feel like eating anything else today. That only brings me slightly over 500 cals for the day....ACK!!! How the heck am I supposed to take in 800-1000 more cals before 8pm?? I don't think I can do it. I know I have to be better about eating enough and not starving my body...lately I've been great about it...eating like a piglet. But not today. I'm supposed to be going out to eat tomorrow night , so I'm sure I will make the calories up in spades...good old southern cooking will ensure that. Who knew eating right was so hard...

Here's an idea for you. Find a heavier calorie protein powder, mix it with milk, and add 2 tablespons of peanut butter. This is awesome with chocolate protien. I make it for my son in the mornings when we don't have time for much else.
