The lowest weight I've ever been in my adult life is 288. I'm currently sitting at 289 (my last weigh-in last Tuesday). The possibility that I may be moving into new unknown weight territory makes me giddy! I'm hoping to at least be 287! Not only will that mean I've made it to my lowest adult weight, but I've also undone all that I did to gain back what I had worked so hard to lose before I got pregnant. My daughter McKenzie is my biggest inspiration- I am so thrilled at the possibility that I could be healthy before she is old enough to remember me as being fat or unhealthy! She's almost 5 months old... how old does a child have to be to notice those things? Cause I intend to be the best example possible for my daughter to know what is a healthy way to live, and what a healthy self-image looks like. When I was growing up, everyone in my immediate family was big (and still are!), so I just thought that was normal until I got to the age when kids start to notice. I wish I'd had at least one parent who was health-conscious enough to teach me how to eat and know when I'm full, exercise, etc. The past can't be changed, but with the help of God I can help control how my daughter is raised and how the rest of my life goes.

What should I do to celebrate when I've gotten below 250? That's gonna be my next super-goal. Any suggestions?

Awesome job! I can feel your happiness :) You deserve it! I think it's so wonderful that you are doing this for your daughter. Personally, I always go buy myself some new smaller clothes as celebration of a new size! Or how about something pampering like a manicure or massage? Anything but cake, lol!
