There is too much chocolate floating around this school today. Well, I suppose there really isn't such a thing as too much chocolate. I've exercised a fair bit of restraint and I did opt to have salad and a bowl of cabbage tomato soup instead of a burger and fries on a fried bun with extra grease at the restaurant and the scale did say I was down a wee bit from last weekend, so if I can hold it together until Sunday, there is still a hope for a real loss... (stop - drink some more water).

Weekends can be dicey because there is always treats at social events, but at least there is also time for exercise.

I think I"m finally at the point where I want to lose this weight enough to really make better concessions to dieting. Lets hope, because so far I really haven't made any progress since Christmas and I've actually been trying that long. Okay.. Cough cough... I've actually gained 3 pounds since Christmas - but... this week.. I'm turning the trend. I've been eating homemade soup for the last week - so honest.. I'm trying.

So... here is me lending me strength for today and tomorrow... say no to treats and yes to water and exercise and all will be well...

Here's some added 'strength vibes' for your weekend will-power! Schools can be real mine-fields with all the treats. Maybe we'll have a break from it for awhile. At least until the Easter candy hits the shelves.
