Have been on a fast with my church and it has been VERY hard on my weight loss. We've been fasting one meal per day, and now I know that Jillian & Bob aren't blowing smoke when they lecture contestants on BL about skipping meals and how it harms your weight loss. It's so true! Fast ends this Saturday (it was a 21 day fast), so my eating should get back to normal.

I also noticed I've been eating too much sodium/not enough fruit & natural ingredients. So on my lunch break (I was fasting lunch anyway!) I walked through our local grocery store to see what is avaiable in the all natural/organic sections. Not gonna lie- our grocery selection stinks, but I did my best. I bought some fresh oranges, grapes, organic cheese, prunes, etc. I've been eating too many "snacky" snacks, which work but aren't the best choice. I'm going to try to do more fresh/frozen fruit, nuts, granola, hard boiled eggs, etc. Wish me luck... old (diet) habits die hard!

you're not kidding... Old habits are so hard to break. Baby steps all the way! You are doing great, though :)
