And an unrestricted day...

Lunch was huge, and delicious (I love braised liver, I know it's considered weird nowadays but YUM, and makes the best gravy ever!!!)

I'm allowed to eat chocolate (Someone has come back from 2 weeks in Dubai with chocolates & I may have had 6)... But I'm allowed too! I still have tons of calories for dinner! I'm not going to angst about it!!! Honest!

I love liver too - calf's liver for breakfast gives me the same 'wow' as spinach to Popeye.

*drools* Calves liver is gorgeous, but so expensive! A waste for braising IMO. Ox or Lambs liver both can be tough but long slow braising will soften them.

Must be your country - it's cheap here - people even fish with it :-)

Cheap here too - one of the cheapest cuts along with chicken liver. Love Love Love them both, a nice dry pan fry finished with lemon - ya gotta try it! Drooling just thinking about it.

Calves/veal liver is ridiculously expensive here (£20.99 per kilo/£9.50 per lb, whereas lambs liver is £2.50/kg or £1.13 per lb). More expensive than any steak cut except fillet/tenderloin. But
