Cricket's Journal, 03 January 2014

As expected, the weight went down, but it was mostly water loss. I drank so much water yesterday to try and get rid of the water retention. Time to keep it up. I did cheat with a couple of glasses of white wine. It's hard to resist it, especially at the end of a long day.
157.5 lb Lost so far: 1.5 lb.    Still to go: 12.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hi Cricket, the wine is hard to kick and is usually the first reward I add back in. That was the first thing that caught my attention about your post. Secondly, I noticed we are the same weight! Good luck to you and Cheers to both of us when we reach goal. I would like to lose 30 by my vacation in April. We'll see.

Cricket--I save some of my calories for a glass (sometimes 2) of wine--especially when I'm starting my diet. That's my "treat." When I really start to lose a lot and exercise, I cut that back, but usually have five ounces on the weekends! LOL. I'd rather exercise that off then to cut it out completely!
