I almost forgot to post this morning. When I remembered, I told myself I had better put something in there before Isabel got on. I know how much she likes reading journals while enjoying her morning Jo. So, good morning Is. Not much this morning. Temp at 5amEST was -15. I had to rescue one of my older pugs from chilled feet. They hate to make a mess near the house, so they travel out to do their things and then their feet start to chill. I look so stupid, running around in the driveway, in my night gown and barn boots, no jacket, just scooping up dogs and running back into the house so their feet do get frost bitten.lol I retrieved them all and all are good. Headed back to the barn now to finish things up and then errand day downtown. Never look forward to that. Hope all have a wonderful day and stay warm and safe all.

I hope things are better for you today! I'm pleased t say that our weather is better than yours today! Lol it's 3 degrees today and mild for this time of year! But they say it's going to get really cold again for the weekend! I'm out today as well so wishing you a great day and will try and catch you later!

Morning Laurie, I am very grateful that you think of me each morning. We have quite a 'thing' going! Glad you rescued the doggies - mental picture of you in nightie and barn boots - mmm - LOL. Hope you have a nice day even though you are doing things you might not particularly wnat to do. Hope you find something to smile about in your day. Sending you love and hugs. I don't think I will be on as early tomorrow, Saturday, hope to have a longer sleep-in. Its about -2 today here with -10 wind chills so you beat me today. Keep warm.

Thanks Leanne for stopping by my journal. Better spirits, but didn't have a good time shopping. Some woman cut me out of line and in the process she pinched my grandsons fingers between the carts. Needless to say, I DID NOT TAKE WELL TO THAT ONE. My daughter and I both ripped her a new one and she ended up leaving her cart right there in line and she left the store. Someone wants to mess with me is one thing, but when it comes to my kids and grandchildren, I'M NOT NICE!!! Other than that, the day was better than yesterday.

Isabel, Yup, quite a picture. Sub-zero temps, night gown and barn boots running around the door yard scooping up dogs.lol Now that I think about it, I'm really glad it was still dark out. Sophie, it is suppose to be warmer this weekend, but a big storm on Sunday. YUCK!!!! Day went better except for shopping. She is lucky she still has her nose.lol:)

Yes, 'tis the season when shopping is becoming a bit more like armed combat! People get so caught up in the frenzy of getting it all done in a certain amount of time, that sometimes manners and just plain caution fly out the window. Your grandson is lucky to have you to stand up for him; hope his fingers are OK. And glad the other woman just left and didn't retaliate! She would have been wrong to do so, but in the heat of the moment, you just never know! Hope you have a warmer, better weekend.
