jenshark4's Journal, 18 November 2013

My DH and I went out this weekend to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. We had a blast. However, in the process of having fun, I lost my pedometer and I honestly can't remember everything I ate, so my sunday Jornal is empty. Not sure if I should go back and try to figure it out, but I am sure that I will miss or forget alot of what I ate. I still tried to make good choices (like a salad at dinner etc). But it was so much fun I lost track, lol. Oh well it only happens once a year, right? This reminds me I do have a vacation coming up and I will have to stay on track. I need to wrie out a "vacation plan of attack" for my food and attempt to forsee any eating problem spots and try to work out a way around those issues, such as traveling by car and being stuck with drive thru options. If you have any advice for vacations and dieting, please let me know, I am open to all suggestions. :o)

Congrats on your anniversary dinner, glad you had fun! And I haven't been on vacation in forever, so not sure what help I could be - lol :)

Glad you enjoyed yourself, just forget about the journal for a day. When hubby and I travel we share meals. If we orders a sandwich, I only eat half and skip 1/2 the bread. Order salads with dressing on side.
