Jealousy does make me fat.

They say that having a friend to lose weight/get fit with you will help you succeed. To me, as I see my friend getting fitter/stronger/leaner, I get more jealous and in turn I eat more. Whenever she tells me about what she does etc, I feel stressed, and eventually I stop talking to her about fitness although I still encourage her when she feels unmotivated/down.

I realized that I'm not a very competitive person. Competition makes me feel uneasy. At the same time, I get jealous of others' success. I'm an emotional binge eater. Negative emotions leads me to excessive unhealthy binge eating.

Therefore, I've decided to stop compare myself to others. I'll just do my things my own way in my own pace.

122.1 lb Lost so far: 5.7 lb.    Still to go: 6.4 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
