This is always the week that bugs me watching Biggest Loser when the women are at MY weight and then they surpass me big time in just one week. It is inspiring, but not enough to get me to emulate them!Every time I try to exercise as much as them, it puts my knees out for the next 6 months, and I know from experience that you can't lose weight just from exercising! I did eat zero fat pudding instead of buying a candy bar. A success is good...luv, mary

Yeah, but they are under constant supervision and probably have doctors all around. It's kind of like Oprah - if you had a personal chef and trainer like she does, it would be easier, too! (no offense to Oprah or her fans). We'll just keep doing the best we can with what we've got! Good job finding a better alternative to the candy bar!

Hiya Mary, it's true all these celebrities have personal chefs trainers etc....if I had someone doing my menu an cooking delicous low fat healthy meals weight loss would be much easier....as it is we're all doing well and can use each other for help and support....you've done great this year and like me all these small losses do add up....not easy for us older!! ones...but we're doing it.... all the best this week X Denise :)

While I think that the Biggest Loser contestants can be motivating for some people they actually depress me! I have not really watched this season because what they all do is just not realistic for anyone else not in the situation they are in and it is not even healthy for us to try this at home on our own. Their whole job and life are weight loss while on that show-our lives constitute so much more! AND!! The reality is that most of them gain back their weight once they go home again. This tells me that they are not dealing with the real issues behind their weight problem and are just fixing the symptom with the environment they are in rather than the actual problem. ANY way...enough of my rambling!! LOL Your exchange of your pudding for your candy bar is wonderful! Bravo! Great progress! I am happy for you and hope you will be able to continue making exchanges that satisfy you and are still healthy. It is also wonderful that you recognize that you can not over do it just because someone else does. By respecting your body you are loving yourself and THAT is always a wonderful thing!
