I think I will have a mini vent this morning. I have been a little tough on people lately and it could be because the low carbs are making me cranky or maybe people are just being turds. I am pretty certain it is the latter. I will not go into all of the details about everyone but I would like to release the negativity that I feel towards my family as I type these words.

Big Sister – I am not your Garçon. Please find your independence and stop using me like mop. I want to be there for you but you take me for granted and you treat me as if I am solely responsible for pulling you out of every hole you dig and then run and jump into.

Little Sister- We all are works in progress. I do not judge your choices because I can name a million problems of my own that I need to fix. But I have concern when your damaged goods impact Dad retiring with financial stability. And stop pinching my stomach fat! That is not a welcomed greeting.

Dad- Grow a pair!

Me- Stay focused! Don’t lose sight of your goals. Get it together!

I need people in my life that want better even if they are still finding the tools to get to where they need to be. I am still searching for those tools myself and I am nowhere near the best version of me. Some of us will have major lows but if we surround ourselves with others that don’t want better we make it harder to move forward. I want to be healthy enough to pull someone out of the hole and my family believes in the crabs in the bucket theory. I want out of the bucket and if someone one in my family wants out of the bucket let’s unify and get out together. Don’t bring me down!

Ok, venting is done. I feel so much better. I will not allow the negativity of others to impede my health goals. I love you family even though you can’t read this he he he.

And to my new FS family if you need to let it out just make certain the people you vent about don’t join FS and later become an added buddy…Awkward!

Reach higher than where you are to get to where you want to be.

Update since the morning vent. My day took a total shift, it was so peaceful. I was alone in the office and was able to focus on work and health. Even a few visits from my family did not disturb my day. It’s a family owned business what am I going to do? I remained focused and at peace. I hope to carry this positive energy into the weekend. I am going to need a lot of discipline to reach my goal of anything below 160 by Monday. Consider me fully vented for the day.
Best wishes!

Keeping my finger's crossed you can reach below 160 by Monday :) Looks like that vent helped your day go smoother, some days we all need to just let it all out! Good luck.

Letting steam escape as you did can be very beneficial..(even if you buddy up with them later on fs,providing they too are really wanting to contribute healthfully to being a more better person)It helps us to relieve our stress(stress causes cortisone(an adrenal hormone) to be present in our body, making it more difficult for us to lose weight. So letting off steam(in the healthy way you did)actually will help you lose weight!Keep it up,Chicka :)

Yep, that was a day to remember and it got so much better after I released that steam. I have dealt with family stress a lot better this week. When my younger sister played with my back fat today instead of getting annoyed I got up and gave her tummy a big squeeze and shake. She did not like the taste of her own medicine but it was too funny. And that’s how she learns. More importantly she is fixing that financial matter with my Dad, at least one of them. So happy am I!
