230.8...woohoo...seems like I"m in a pattern...I lose a pound every other day...I won't complain. I'm almost back in the 220s. I was so hungry last night...I was even craving sweets...which is something I never do...I'm not much into the sugary stuff...would rather have savory. But I had a craving for chocolate cream pie...something I haven't had in about 15 years...weird. I'm also dying to have pizza...I miss it soooooo much. I've been researching grain free crusts and found one that is made of cauliflower and cheese. I wanted an all veggie one, but the review I read said the hybrid pizza crusts are better, plus if there is cheese in the crust I don't have to put much on top. Two and half weeks and I will have my pizza...I can't wait!!
On another note I"m making chili again today...I made paleo chili last week that contained cocoa....it was okay, not as good as my father's chili. So today I decided to have my father season my chili...which is good because he doesn't measure anything...just eyeballs it. It is simmering in the kitchen now and should be done by dinner time.
Here is a recipe I found online last night...I'm making it for a pot luck in Nov...sounds yummy ( I used to like Peanut Butter cookies):
Low Carb Almond Butter Cookies
1 cup Almond butter (I used crunchy) 1 cup Stevia (or sweetener of choice) 1 Egg 2 tsp. Vanilla 1/4 tsp. Salt 2 TB. Coconut flour
Blend all ingredients together in mixer. Form into walnut sized balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Use a fork to flatten the balls in a criss cross pattern. Bake at 350 for 9 minutes Yield 12 cookies
