Well things are going good w/my eating, weigh-in won't be until Sunday. At this point, I think my job is pretty secure for at least this fiscal year. I won't get my hopes to high until the final plan has been released. On another note, I will be going in for surgery AGAIN (3rd time this year) ugh...This will also be my 3rd operation on my hand in 18 mo's. Long story short, somewhere along the way a nerve in my hand has been severed, not sure if one of the first 2 surgeries did it or the scar tissue, either way I am seeing a REAL hand surgeon/plastic surgeon who is fixing it for good. He will cut the nerve, tuck it in as far as he can in my arm muscle and he's going to fix the nasty scar that I have going on from my last surgery 5 weeks ago. Note to self: ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR GUT FEELING!! I should have listened to it and didn't. It's almost embarrassing to have so many surgies and I'm only 43! Honestly all the past surgies have been all minor except for my SI joint fushion that I had done in April, WHICH is the BEST thing I had done!! Still pain free and I've really been able to so much since. So keep your fingers crossed that this will be the last of it for me!!

Wow. Did the first surgery happen because of carpal tunnel and then the surgery ended up severing a nerve? I hope this last surgery will be successful and the scar will be minimal. Good job on the eating right, hope Sunday reveals a good number :P

Christy, no, I had to have a cyst removed, according to the doctor I had "old" damage in there too and he had to rechannel my tendons so they would lay flat. The 2nd doctor said that I still have "old" damage in there. As far as know what that is, I have no clue! I've never done anything to my knowledge.
