Going to be eating a lot of FRUIT in the near future. Having some other kids over for a party of sorts (total 8 people, so still within guidelines!) Last summer, when we would go to the community pool, I would make a big bowl of fruit and make fruit dip to go with it (just pudding, milk & coolwhip mixed together). When I told the grandkids that their friends would be coming over on Wednesday, Maebie (9) asked enthusiastically, "Can we have fruit & dip!!?" How can I refuse. So, today, I'm washing & cutting up fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, blueberries, red grapes, black grapes (and, hopefully, cherries if they have them at Food Lion - Walmart's ones weren't sweet yesterday).

I was pretty proud of myself this morning - made a custom drink holder to float in the pool. Just involved cleverly cutting a giant pool noodle. Hope it WORKS as well as it LOOKS! Also cleaned off my couchside table. You know those couches where the center back cushion folds forward and there is a TRAY with drink holders on it? Well, mine was stacked about 8" high with clutter on it. Nice and organized now, with most of it put in their proper places. Small victories!
