I just watched this BBC video and I recommend it highly. I am going to try to get my parents to watch it to since I want to have them around as long as possible. (besides weight loss, this addresses age related health issues like heart disease,and cancer) This is the guy who started the promotion of the 5:2 fast diet, and his journey getting there. It is absolutely fascinating and if you want to check it out you'll need to allow a full hour! I didn't think I wanted to invest the time but I'm sure glad I did.

I hope that link works for you. There are annoying subtitles (in Finnish language?)and you have to wait 30 seconds for it to start, but I didn't search for another version (like on YouTube) since this one runs really very well. I hope this helps someone out there! I am doing this diet and so far pretty happy about the way I feel.

Excellent! Thank you very much! This man has awesome documentaries on eating/ diet/ health. I have seen others with him. Both also very useful and important. This one delves more into the processes that make people stay thin or gain fat. It has some interesting information about how and why some of us are fat and others are thin and what influences it. Sorry about list lol. I'm amazed to find out today, thanks to you, that there are more documentaries ;) Thanks!
