Trying something new this week -- not weighing in daily during my Lady's Days. Being good, and hoping it pays off. :-)

Diet Calendar Entry for 08 July 2013:

I used to weigh every day also. In my head, I knew that during that time of the month that retaining 3-5 lbs was normal for me, but when I would actually see the higher numbers on the scale for days it began to discourage me. I decided not to weigh myself for one week a month and I helped a LOT. Now I weigh myself only once a week regardless of time of the month, and it seems to work for me. :)

That's where I'm expecting to end up -- just once a week. The daily weigh-ins worked well for the first part of this journey; but like you, I get discouraged when I gain a bit or stay stagnant for a couple of days. And when I get discouraged, I 'slip'. So far, not weighing myself has been going well. Looking forward to the end of the week. :-)

I try to weigh myself only once a week, I don't want to see the highs and lows, once weekly usually shows me the steady decline we all want to see. The type of birth control implant I have leaves me with usually no lady days buuuut, this past week I was on vacation they decided to turn up. Vacation plus all that water and bloat... I might not weigh in again until next month! lol

Yolanda -- Aren't those surprise Lady's days great??? :-S Sounds like you had a great vacation even with the bloat! :-)
