Thanks, guys. Buster was chosen from a shelter in 2011. Someone left him in an outside cage. They could only estimate his age by his teeth and they thought he was maybe 2 1/2-3 so I guess he is 12 maybe? Gosh- that pains me to write. He's getting up there. He's the best dog (aside from the shedding). So gentle and playful but a mean bark which is perfect when I have two kids at home and a husband working third shift. The vet thinks he is a Great Pyrenees and a pointer mix. I thought about paying to have his DNA test done but then I think I could spend that on something more important.

Cute dog! Our lab walked with us today. Poor thing is old and fat and she kept trying to quit on us. When we got home she jumped in her big water trough then passed out in the yard.

Everything in this picture is cute! Love the yellow sneakers as well! The background reminds me of the area I grew up: flat and farmlands with a farm here and there!

Silkian- was that Illinois by chance? Illinois= super flat. We have a more scenic lake trail but I like to let him off his leash and just run and I knew there would be way too many people there- so this little spot is a lot less traveled- but very boring. It's a trade off. :)
