Exercising in weird places? Tell me about it... It's might sound a bit ghoulish but the best place for me to jog is the nearby cemetery. It's not spooky; in fact, it's just peaceful and private with lots of good paths and trees. Naturally, I'm quiet and respectful of where I am, and the place offers sobering reminders of why I'm jogging at all. Whenever I find myself gasping along, thinking "This is killing me!", all I have to do is look about to appreciate how very lucky I am to be alive and to realize that NOT jogging might well kill me a lot quicker. Extreme, I know, but it works for me. And I think that if the departed really are looking down, they'd enjoy seeing me really living!
