Just got back from my walk and had a wood tick on me..I screamed and freaked out trying to get it off me....I have a phobia with wood ticks..scared to death of them and this is the 2 nd one in a week while walking on a gravel road...now trying to think of other ways to get my exercise after dinner....

Don't freak out. I take them of the dogs all the time. And had plenty myself. Even got Lymes desease. Best to get yourself a tick-tool to remove them & wear long trousers & sleeves. Nothing better to get outside & get fresh air :)

It goes way back when I was 8 yrs old and to this day I get scared when i even see one let alone it crawling on me..it took me 3 flicks to get it off and i RAN home to have my husband check me....god I'm pathetic..:-)
