Not giving up. I've been trying to drink more water, and avoid white bread and rice. I could still work on portion control and cutting out sweets for a while. We get the 100-cal ice cream treats to control the damage.
185.0 lb Lost so far: 27.0 lb.    Still to go: 35.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 7.0 lb a week

Carb control sounds like a good idea to me. I found myself getting rid of white bread and eliminating rice almost entirely. It did help.

Thanks, everyone. It's astonishing how much I enjoy eating high-carb foods, but how terrible they make me feel. Fortunately, I enjoy high-protein foods a lot too. Come to think of it, I enjoy ALL foods. This has been my problem the last 30 years!
